| Winston Winston is a three year old Bantam Rooster that came to the farm in 2003 from his hatching place of Perryville, KY! He is the senior chicken and the smallest of the clan. He is a bit on the nnnnnervous side, but a fun chicken to have around. Apparently he didn’t get the memo on crowing in the morning as this little bugger crows ALL DAY LONG! He lost his girlfriend of two years and is actively seeking a new partner who enjoys long walks in the grass, fine dining and dirt baths…. |
Annie is a two year old Rhode Island Red hen. My nephew was
attending a church barbeque where there was a
raffle drawing. Not aware of what the prize was; he purchased a
ticket. Low and behold; he was the lucky winner of a day old chick!
Who gives a chicken in a raffle….I mean really! Long story short;
“Annie” made the trip to VT on the floor boards of my nephews car
and was given to “Auntie” to keep! She has grown up a very
independent, and assertive chicken always being the first one to
arrive for a worm handout!
